OK, we need to get this cleared up... I actually like this swimming / training tool.  Unlike Gabe, I kick like a normal person (not a duck) and find this product to actually work.  Now, it doesn't propel you as quickly as other fins that you see at the wellness center, but hey it's about 6" shorter.  It is designed to actually help you learn to kick better (more like a dolphin).

Pros:
>Helps you learn to kick with proper form
>It's yours, no one besides your smelly feet are in them

Cons:
>They do take some getting used to
>One more thing to pack on the way to the gym
